This drawing by Courtney Privett is going viral, along with the hashtag, #shepersisted, as a response to US Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s comments about Senator Elizabeth Warren.
Senator Warren was ejected from Senate hearings for persisting to read into record a letter written by Coretta Scott King when she was told to sit down and shut up.
Nevertheless, She Persisted.
Has a bit of a scriptural ring to it, doesn’t it?

I love these. I love Rachel’s! I love that “nevertheless, she persisted” is being turned into a rallying cry. This type of thing gives me hope in a dark time.
