On Tuesday, August 7th, Stephenie Meyer’s new book hits the stands. Stephenie, a BYU grad, has found runaway success in the YA market. Also on Tuesday, she’ll be making her first national TV appearance on Good Morning America — and I’ll be in the audience! (Look for a redhead wearing this T-shirt):
What else . . . It’s been a bit of a slow-week in blog land. As Natalie Babbitt wrote:
“The first week of August hangs at the very top of summer, the top of the live-long year, like the highest seat of a Ferris wheel when it pauses in its turning.”

- The funniest “mash-up” trailer I’ve ever seen (warning: contains one obscenity).
