Thankful for Exponent II

suze-exponent-biltmoreI spent my Thanksgiving Holiday in Asheville, NC. On Friday, I toured Biltmore, the grounds and the house. One these tours, I often bring reading materials – just in case I get held up on a bench somewhere. My choice for this occasion: Exponent’s Fall issue.

You will see me pictured here on the Biltmore Estate with my Exponent II.

I’m always thankful for Exponent – and on Thanksgiving I get to say it out loud.

I love carrying the stories of women with me. The stories of love bring me comfort; the stories of faith bring me inspiration; and the stories of courage bring me motivation.

The voices of Mormon women are in the pages of the Exponent II magazine –and I am thankful for this community. This community understands my liberal Mormon heart. I love that.

Why are you thankful for Exponent II?

  1. Suzette, you have expressed the importance of Exponent II for my inquiring liberal feminist questioning Mormon mind beautifully. I am deeply grateful for a space where I can write or speak my mind without concern for being judged or patronized. I’m thankful for every one of you.
