Photo Challenges

by Jessawhy

Thanks to John and Jana, I’ve joined a photo group, A Certain Slant of Light.
We’ve had daily challenges that have been fun to work on. Some have been more challenging than others, but I’d like to share some of my favorites.
Raspberries
This was for the challenge of photographing something passed down. I took a little different slant on the challenge. My great-grandma passed down her love of raspberries. It has passed from my grandma to my own children. In the photo, my little Turtle is picking his first raspberry from great-grandma’s patch.

Writing on a Body Part

Another one of my kids, but this one was lots of fun. I wrote on their backs, and they giggled.

Skin The Way My Skin Stretches by you.
I used a collage to show the way my belly stretched for pregnancy, then shrank afterward. My 5 year old was the photographer for both shots.

Sparkler
I haven’t found a way to use this photo for the challenge, yet, but it’s one of my favorites from the last few days. It’s my 2 year old’s first sparkler. I took it after my oldest son’s sixth birthday party.Sparkler
