We’ve extended our deadline for Exponent II’s Annual Helen Candland Stark Essay Contest.
We encourage long-time contributors and those of you who have been thinking of submitting an essay to put on your creative thinking caps andenter our annual Personal Essay Contest.
The winning essay will be awarded $300 and be published in the newspaper’s pdf. Honorable mention essays will also be posted. Non-winning submissions will be reviewed by our Readers Committee and considered for posting at a later date.
The deadline is now October 1, 2006.

To answer some questions you may have: we prefer electronic submissions over hard copy. We will accept more than one entry per person, and there is no entry fee.
