Yes, and in seminary, and I grew up in Utah, so I saw them on Temple Square in December when we would look at lights, and they come on TV pretty regularly…maybe because Utah has KBYU on public television? Joy to the World and Mr. Kreugar’s Christmas were also sent to all Ensign subscribers as DVDs a few years back.

I didn’t need the trip to be perfect, but uncertain of what changes the coming months would bring, I needed this time with my family away from normal household concerns.
As a rebellious member of the LDS blogger community, I knew that it was impossible to avoid this conversation. After dealing with several racist encountersboth in person and online, I have recognized that being silent is simply a comfortable compliance with not being willing to be deemed difficult and rebellious.
I think I must be a freak, because I don’t think I’ve seen any of these LDS Christmas movies. Did you see these in Sunday School classes growing up?

Same here, Caroline, though I have seen Mr. Kruger’s because of the whole free thing. I don’t think I have seen any of the others.
I only looked at the photo on the website, but Mary looks a lot like Jennifer Aniston. 🙂
