An Invitation to Pray and Fast

Please consider joining in prayer and fasting for the queer community. For the next three Sundays, March 15th, 22nd, and 29th, we can petition Heavenly Parents for a miracle: for the healing of the souls of our LGBTQ+ community, for stopping the causes of ongoing pain, for better light and knowledge and for more effective communication that ALL may experience wholeness and joy.

Not talking about politics is privilege

“Let’s just not talk about politics” is a ridiculously privileged thing to say.

Sure, we could eliminate political discussions from our workplaces, from friendships, from our families. But then we’re left with only superficial relationships where we don’t hold space and empathy for people who have experienced the issues at hand. We need to listen to people's stories. We need to come to these conversations with empathy. We need to leave these conversations with impetus to make things better. Politics is personal.
